Opacity Certification Services, LLC (OCS) complies with the most current PS-1, Opacity Procedure 3 (Appendix F) and ASTM D6216-12.

What We Do

OCS performs NIST-traceable opacity filter certification and recertifications.

Opacity filter certifications are performed in-house with a laboratory-based spectrophotometer calibrated with NIST 2031b SRM's to provide NIST traceability.  OCS meets or exceeds requirements set in 40 CFR Part 60, Appendix B, Performance Specification 1, Opacity Procedure 3, and ASTM D6216-12.

We recertify and manufacture opacity filters for just about any brand of monitor on the market.
